Catalog
The Item Master catalog, simply referred to as “Catalog” in Workday, is a catalog that contains items that UAMS has a pricing agreement for. It has thousands of clinical and non-clinical products to support healthcare, research, and administrative tasks. The catalog is used heavily for supplies/commodities necessary for daily operations at UAMS.

Punchout Supplier Catalogs
The terms “punchout supplier” and “punchout catalog” refer to a supplier catalog that can be accessed using Workday. A supplier punchout connects you to the website of a supplier, allows you to select desired items, then complete checkout in Workday. Suppliers with a punchout set up in Workday have contracts with UAMS to provide commodities at competitive prices.

Non-Catalog
A non-catalog purchase requisition is used for two purchase types:
- Purchase of services.
- Purchase of goods that are not available in the Item Master Catalog or any of the Punchout supplier catalogs.
